Three Cheers for the Red, White, & Blue

Except for when it's my rats'm-frats'm LEFT FOOT.

I thought I'd just stubbed my little toe on the corner of a wall yesterday morning. But there's obviously a bit more than just your standard toe-stubbing going on here.

The irony of JoyDad's left foot just now allowing him to run, while my left foot will prevent me from running this weekend, is not lost on me.

Happy rats'm-frats'm 4th of July, all!

Ouch!

With 2 foot photos in a row, you might be drawing a new reader - group - what kind of - phil-um to they call those with a particular liking to feet?

Razzin' you when I can!

Sincere happy healing!

Owie!!!

You've got me beat. I've definitely never done THAT to my little toe.

That looks like it hurt. I did something similar last December, with similar looking results. It turns out I broke my toe. Heal well.

Uh, I'm thinking that's not just a stubbed toe. Xray, anyone?

Thanks, all. I checked in informally with my medical pals at church this evening, and was told what I already kinda knew: that it might well be broken, but even if they knew it were, there wouldn't be much to do except tape it to its neighbor, wear shoes with firm soles, and wait for it to heal.

Wonder how long it'll take before I can run again, though... snif...

Even bruised, you have adorable feet (and I say that in a totally platonic, non-fetishistic way; more of an OMG-I-never-realized-until-now-how-ugly-MY-feet-are-I-really-ought-not-wear-sandals-lest-I-scare-small-children admiration).

Hope it's far less painful than it looks.
