We will all miss her, that is for sure. She was a wonderful step-mom to me and a loving grandma to my kids. She certainly made my dad happy. She shared her love, smiles, laughter, and her sassy, feisty spirit with all of her family and friends. rainbomummy, her passing was peaceful, and she was surrounded by her husband and three children. I was awed and honored to also be able to be with her in her last moments. I have no doubt that she knew and felt the love of her family, and that she could hear the loving words spoken to her, and that she could feel the loving touches. Rest in peace, Judy. -AuntieS

Barbara, the photo was taken in 2002. :-) Lapin d'Indigo, she was proud and happy, and simply delighted that she was to be just plain "Grandma" with no "step" or nicknames involved.

Sorry for your loss...glad you had the blessing of having her in your life.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. What a blessing grandmas can be - I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
My sincere sympathy for your family's loss. Lovely tributes from you and Auntie S. Lovely photo, too - is that Rose or Joy in her arms?
