We're planning pizza followed by kid-friendly carbonated juice tonight. Not that we need an excuse to have pizza...
It was strange the way Joy's seizures just kind of stopped on their own. We hadn't monkeyed with the dosages of her medicines since the previous January. And I think it was in the spring that we started having stretches of a week or more with no seizures. Over time the seizure-free strings of days started getting longer.
Sometimes when the seizures returned they did so with a vengance. I think we hit a record for the number of seizures in a single day on the first day following a string with no seizures. Very weird pattern...
Eventually in September last year they stopped and thankfully haven't come back. So tonight, we party!!!
Yay for Joy! Yay for Rose, JoyMama, & JoyDad!! Let's go for two!!! (One day at a time, of course!!) I hope you all enjoyed the pizza and fizzy juice! -AuntieS
