I don't know where she got her artistic talents, sure wasn't from her Dad...
With 5 in one photo and 3 and in the second, I'm not sure whether she intended them to be a family portrait - ? No matter her intention, I claim the largest one as JM's portrait. A significant 'body of work' demonstrating early talent for to which both her mother and father deny contribution. ;)BRatK
Best part?? They're smiling!!
I personally love the abundance of freckles. I am however, concerned to see that Badgers fandom seems to be setting in through osmosis via Madison residency.
These are adorable. Could Rose come to AuntieS' house and decorate some for me too?? I would also have to ask, though, that we avoid the Badgers decoration!! LOL! I have experienced the amazing phenomenom of my children demonstrating great talents that I could not begin to emulate. I still feel it is my place as the mom to take full credit for all of their wonderful abilities! My son's singing and musical talent...definitely thanks to me. My daughter's artistic abilities and creative, resourceful skills and her great athletic prowess...yep, must be from me. My middle son's high intelligence and his creative abilities with film production and sports...once again, must be from me. My youngest's strong self-confidence and comfort with people of all ages...sure, that's me!! Does it matter that I can't really do any of these things to any great, skillful degree??? Nope, cuz I'm the mom!! LOL! (Sorry JoyDad and dad of my kids!!)-AuntieS (and today, ARatK again)
Lovely attribution for motherhood, ARatK! I concur! lol.
AuntLO, you talk about Badger fandom as if it was a bad thing... ;)P.S. JoyDad is definitely a Badgers fan, but then he also has a degree from UW.
Love the fourth one. What does it say?
Well, those are some happy pumpkins! Nice job, Rose!
rhemashope - it says "Badgers," as in UW-Madison. On Wisconsin, Go Bucky Go, etc. What a little Badger-booster we're raising here... she gets it much more from school than at home!
what an artist!xo
