We often struggle to find something that is motivational for Joy. Jumping is it! The other day she came up to a therapist and took her hands wanting to jump. Her teacher said, "I'm waiting for you to look at me, then we can jump." Joy looked up at her and jump they did! Another time, another therapist, "What do you want?" as she looked over at the talk button sitting a little ways away. Joy ran over, pushed the button and jump, jump, jump! Pretty cool.
The boy I work with would jump non-stop were it a possibility. He'll jump me straight out of breath on the trampoline, and the second I stop he gives me that I'm-the-saddest-boy-in-the-universe look and signs "more jump please". I also love photgraphing him on the trampoline. Jumping action shots alway reek of awesomeness and yours is no exception!
Great pic! My daughter is quite the climber, and always wants to be up and/or standing. She would love doing this-I'm going to try it! And her middle name is Joy!
Hey, I'm a friend not-yet-met, but glad that I'm here now. :) I love this picture! I've got to get a jump button for me. :) But seriously, that button idea is really great. I'll have to try that, or a variation, with my son. Thanks for the idea.

Makes me want to jump for Joy too!
The baristas never want to give JoyDad a turn....
JoyDad - don't tell me you're above the fifty-pound limit?!???
Cale - I have got to remember that "reeks of awesomeness" turn of phrase.
LOVE that!!
